Family Medicine Residency Program Director

The Family Medicine Residency Program Director is a vital position responsible for guiding the academic and clinical training of residents in family medicine. This role entails overseeing the creation, execution, and assessment of the residency program while ensuring adherence to ACGME accreditation requirements and institutional guidelines. The Program Director will cultivate a supportive educational atmosphere that promotes professional development, working closely with faculty, administrative leaders, and clinical partners to influence the future of medical education.

This residency initiative will be the first of its kind in the Northwest and is currently in the planning stages, with a projected launch for the intern class in July 2028. The Program Director will assume a pivotal leadership role in establishing and initiating the program, collaborating with the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office, the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), and operational leadership to develop and implement the residency framework.
