Summary

Grand Appliance and TV is hiring for an Accounts Receivable Associate! The Accounts Receivable Associate assists in maintaining the integrity of Grand Appliance’s receivables and billing for credit customers. This includes direct and progressive invoicing, prompt collection of accounts receivable and assisting with efforts to minimize bad debt for the Company. This position is based out of our corporate office in Sturtevant, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and delivery of monthly progress invoices.
  • Work with customer service team on all post sale customer issues requiring AR involvement
  • Assist with managing status of aged open AR
  • Review and resolution of old AR balances, including credit balances, and participating in the process to collect aged receivables prior to moving to outside agencies.
  • Create or approve credit memos for pricing issues, items billed in error, or similar situations.
  • Assist sales department to resolve difficult orders, system questions or resolution of data entry errors.
  • Assist customers with invoice related questions.
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed.
  • Apply payments in all forms (check, credit card, ACH or wire)
  • Set up new accounts and initiate approval process for credit lines.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, and especially collections is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite ERP is a bonus.
  • Previous experience in construction industry billing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.
