Job description

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files.

  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and obtain required approvals.
