Accounting Clerk
Range: $24/hr minimum | $28/hr midpoint | $32/hr max
Location: Los Angeles (90017) - onsite

  • Heavy AP focus (approximately 500 invoices/month)
  • Accounts payable, reconciliations, vendor communication, and accounting support experience preferred
  • Sage Intacct experience preferred
  • Reports to Controller

SUMMARY:
The Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day financial operations of Gracelight Community
Health, with primary responsibility for accounts payable processing and related accounting
support functions. This role helps ensure timely and accurate payment processing, maintains
organized financial records, and assists the Finance Department with general accounting and
administrative tasks. This role is fully onsite and requires regular in-person attendance at
Gracelight Community Health locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Processes approximately 500 accounts payable invoices per month, including coding, data entry, matching supporting documentation, and preparing payments.
2. Reviews invoices and payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate approvals.
3. Communicates with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice questions, payment status, and account discrepancies.
4. Maintains organized and accurate accounts payable files, records, and supporting documentation.
5. Assists with check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations.
6. Assists with monthly closing activities, including preparation of account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
7. Maintains vendor records, including W-9 forms and related documentation.
8. Supports audits and financial reporting activities by gathering requested documentation and information.
9. Assists with data entry, account analysis, and other general accounting support functions as assigned.
10. Maintains confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

• At least 1–2 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with staff, vendors, and external partners.
