Job description

Accounting Administrator

The Accounting Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Corporate Accounting department.

Responsibilities:

The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.

Maintain an active list of associates and vendors.

Maintain chart of accounts in ERP system including activating and deactivating departments as needed.

Add, update and deactivate vendors and associates in accounting, T&E and AP systems.

Coordinate onboarding tasks for new vendors and associates in accounting systems.

Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, memos and correspondence.

Organize and assist with requests for internal and external accounting audits.

Assist in processing cell phone orders and maintaining an up-to-date list of active users. Provide support for related inquiries and generate reports as needed.

Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for accounting records and documentation.

Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

Provide general support to department associates.

Skills & Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

A High Scholl Diploma or equivalent.

Two to three yearsโ€™ experience in an administrative or team support role.

Strong administrative background.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingual a plus.

Detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Must be highly productive, able to balance competing priorities and meet all established productivity measures.

Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. High proficiency researching the Internet.

Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.

Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities.
