Accounting Software Consultant

Do you like helping others in the class or in the office reduce the number of steps it takes to get something done with mission-critical apps?

BTerrell Group seeks individuals currently in business school or with business and accounting experience to help us support our clients in the selection, implementation and use of Sage Intacct, the preferred provider of cloud-based accounting software according to the AICPA. We help client companies do more back-office work without applying more resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Support & Learning:
    • Assist senior consultants in client discovery sessions.
    • Learn to gather and document client business processes and requirements.
    • Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Implementation & Configuration Assistance:
    • Assist in the configuration of Sage Intacct modules under the guidance of senior consultants.
    • Support data migration activities and data validation.
    • Assist in testing and troubleshooting Sage Intacct configurations.
    • Design financial and operational reports using Sage Intacct reporting options
    • Balance client expectations with software reporting capabilities
    • Master the program tools for data integration between key business applications
  • Training & Documentation:
    • Assist in the development of training materials and documentation.
    • Learn to provide basic training to clients on Sage Intacct functionality.
    • Contribute to the creation of knowledge base articles.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist in project administration tasks, such as tracking project progress and updating documentation.
    • Learn to manage project timelines and contribute to project milestones.
    • Learn to identify and report potential project risks.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Actively pursue knowledge of Sage Intacct features and updates.
    • Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
    • Complete and maintain Sage Intacct certifications.
