Position Summary: The Accounting Associate is a key member of the accounting team that will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist in monthly financial reporting

Essential Responsibilities: Accounts Payable (AP) Process and enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system. Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation. Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Maintain vendor files and ensure W-9 forms and payment details are updated. Assist with weekly/monthly payment processing (ACH, wire, check). Accounts Receivable (AR) Enter and apply customer payments (ACH, checks, wires) to open invoices.

Prepare and maintain daily cash receipts logs and ensure timely posting. Support AR reconciliation and follow-up on unapplied or misapplied cash receipts. Assist with collections activities and customer account inquiries.

General Accounting Support Assist with month-end close activities related to AP and AR. Maintain proper documentation for audit and internal controls compliance.
