Position Summary

The Accounting Associate supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • Review, code, and enter invoices and expense reports
  • Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping, as needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with monthend close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Support fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 01 year of accounting or finance experience (internships and relevant coursework accepted)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
