What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare and enter journal entries during month-end close
  • Ensure transactions are coded accurately in the general ledger
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support close
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations and postings
  • Release vendor payments on a daily basis
  • Own month-end banking reconciliations and related processes
  • Partner with internal teams to gather and interpret financial data
  • Support annual audit requests and work with external auditors
  • Help maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Identify ways to streamline and improve accounting processes
  • Support internal controls across GL and bank reconciliation functions
  • Assist with training new team members and identifying team development opportunities
