JMT's mission is to create an extraordinary experience supporting every one of our nonprofit clients, every single day. The role of the ERP Software Accounting Specialist is critical in maintaining the extraordinary client experience we strive to deliver.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing software application support and light training to JMT’s nonprofit organization clients, primarily on the cloud-based ERP software applications JMT supports. This is a mid-level position, and we are seeking a candidate who is motivated to learn quickly and has the potential to grow further in the ERP software consulting practice at JMT. This position will be based out of our Mount Juliet office.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Processing of transactions (vendor bills, receipts/payments, JEs, etc.)
  • Downloading, coding, and reconciliation  of credit card and bank transactions
  • Processing of Client Invoices to Customers
  • Downloading/entry and reconciliation of revenues from 3rd party applications
  • Review of monthly AP and AR ledgers for discrepancies
  • Setup of new Vendors, customers/funders, etc.


 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity and knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office or other applications
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct and MIP Accounting Software is a definite plus.
  • 2-3 years experience with Nonprofit Accounting
