Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for the Finance team in our Las Vegas studio. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and assist with the accounting operations of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare routine and non-routine journal entries for Corporate and U.S. subsidiaries including; but not limited to, various expense accruals, payroll, leases, and revenue recognition under ASC 606.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations in FloQast.
  • Perform analytical review of balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.
  • Manage the fixed asset system for calculating additions, disposals and depreciation.
  • Create and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid expenses.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of key processes and controls.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and SOX requirements.
  • Review purchase requisitions, invoice and expense reports for GL Coding accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, and operations to support business decision-making and ensure alignment of financial reporting.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned with a high quality of work.
  • Assist with other special projects or ad hoc requests.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
  • Knowledgeable of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and best practices.
  • 3-5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with accounting systems and knowledge of the month-end close process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced in Excel.
  • Possess excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly and effectively to process changes.

Preferred
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite and FloQast.
  • Experience with Coupa or other Procure-to-Pay software.
  • Active CPA license
  • Experience working with a publicly traded company
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools to support accounting and reporting processes
