This is an ideal opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the month-end close, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, and partnering with leadership to support sound business decisions. You'll play a key role in improving processes, implementing a new ERP system, and helping build the accounting infrastructure needed to support the company's continued expansion.

Working directly alongside a CFO with a proven track record of developing future finance leaders, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your responsibilities and grow your career as the organization continues to scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP while providing meaningful reporting to executive leadership.
  • Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end analyses.
  • Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Play a key role in the company's ERP implementation and ongoing systems enhancements.
  • Partner with operations, inventory, and production teams to improve financial visibility and support business decisions.
  • Assist with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and margin reporting.
  • Mentor and develop members of the accounting team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and the month-end close process.
  • Experience improving accounting processes and implementing best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP implementation or optimization experience is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, business-minded accounting professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, meeting deadlines, and driving continuous improvement.
