Position Summary:Moveras is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Accountant to join our team in Salem, NH. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contributions will make an impact.Key Responsibilities:· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.· Prepare and distribute monthly expense analysis reports· Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.· Maintain fixed asset software updates and reconciliation to GL.· Prepare weekly direct labor payroll reports within deadlines to assist operations.· Prepare all weekly payroll reports for management review.· Update and maintain tax compliance in federal, state and local jurisdictions.· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as needed.· Support budget preparation and expense tracking to align with organizational goals.· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any discrepancies.· Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.· Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the efficiency of accounting operations.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.· 5+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.· Proficiency in accounting software, Sage Fixed Assets, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications:· CPA certification or working towards certification.· Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
