Accountants One is partnered with an established manufacturer of construction materials with a nationwide footprint to assist them in finding an Accounting Manager to join their team in Johns Creek.


This is an on-site position that offers flexibility for personal appointments and promotes a healthy work-life balance. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Head of Accounting and is responsible for leading and developing a team of three direct reports and is responsible for overseeing the organization's general accounting operations, financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal control environment. This role manages the month-end close process, ensures accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and provides financial analysis to support business decision-making. The Accounting Manager serves as a strategic business partner across departments, leads key accounting initiatives, and manages a team of three accounting professionals.


The ideal candidate is a CPA with a combination of Big Four public accounting and corporate industry experience. Manufacturing and post-acquisition integration experience are preferred. This individual is a collaborative leader with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA required.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Combination of Big 4 public accounting and corporate industry accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting post-acquisition integrations is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or people management experience preferred.
  • JD Edwards and Power BI experience a plus.
