Description
  • Direct daily workflows for the finance team and conduct talent development
  • Manage & streamline month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
  • Oversee cost accounting functions to improve product margin visibility
  • Collaborate closely with Operations teams to identify opportunities for improved business performance
  • Participate in the preparation of financial reporting packages
  • Participate in budget processes & financial planning support
  • Key collaborator in external audits and government compliance

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting in a manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and costing methodologies.
  • Experience with job order costing and inventory valuation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

Communication & Leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
