Job description

We’re hiring an Accounting Data Entry Clerk for our West Houston, TX area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!


DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:


· Job Title: Accounting Data Entry Clerk

· Location: West Houston / Energy Corridor

· Pay: $19/hr. - $21/hr.

· Hours: 8am-5pm

· Duration: temporary

· Description of Duties: Accurately enter financial and accounting data into company system; Verifying entries against documents; Assist with reconciliation documentation; File and organize physical and electronic records; Prepare basic reports; Perform other clerical tasks as needed

· Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required, some college in accounting / finance preferred; 2 years' data entry / clerical experience, preferably in an accounting environment; Proficient skills in Excel; Experience with accounting software such as MS Dynamics, Navision, or Great Plains; Knowledge of A/P & A/R processes with basic understanding of debits and credits
