Job description

Jabbers is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper & Administrative Operations Coordinator to support daily financial, administrative, and operational needs across multiple businesses, including a construction company, daycare, and indoor play center.
This role is ideal for a bookkeeping/ CPA student or someone who has at least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping. They should be organized, trustworthy, and comfortable managing both financial records and administrative operations in a small-business environment.


Hours:15-20/week

Flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
-Manage daily bookkeeping and financial operations using QuickBooks and Clover.
-Reconcile daily transactions, deposits, cash counts, and month-end/year-end records.
-Prepare organized financial reports and documentation for the company CPA.
-Process Idaho Sales & Use Tax filings through Idaho TAP, including Form 850 submissions.
-Support payroll administration, employee onboarding paperwork, payroll records, and tip distribution.
-Track daycare grant documentation, reimbursements, in-kind reporting, and related records.
-Maintain compliance records, including Idaho Secretary of State renewals, insurance audits, and required documentation.
-Organize company files and records so they remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.
-Assist with employee handbooks, confidentiality agreements, training manuals, and onboarding resources.
-Help develop quarterly and annual employee review systems.
-Support daily cash handling, coin runs, and employee tip payouts.
-Coordinate company events, including the annual Christmas party and employee recognition.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
Bookkeeping or administrative operations experience.
Experience with QuickBooks and Clover experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple businesses, deadlines, and recordkeeping systems.
Comfortable working independently and directly with ownership.
Knowledge of payroll, tax filings, compliance, or grant tracking is a plus.
