Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records on student files.
Essential Job Tasks: Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Processes daily payments, reconciliation, invoices, and receipts to students' account.
  • Research and communicate accurate information via phone, text, email, and chat to students the necessary information regarding their account.
  • Provide proper documentation, contact notes, and follow-up needs within the student file.
  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
  • Consistently available for phone rotation and chat.
  • Assist students with enrollments by submitting an enrollment for the student or by communicating step-by-step procedures on submitting an enrollment online.
  • Collect personal and confidential documents for student records. Provides departmental backup, as needed.
  • Promotes, maintains, and enhances workplace culture within Student Accounts department and the university.
