POSITION SUMMARY:
This internship may be full-time or part-time based on business needs and candidate availability. The Accounting Intern will work closely with the accounting team and gain exposure to core financial processes, reporting standards, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review, data entry, and payment tracking.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
• Help reconcile bank statements, expense reports, and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Organize electronic and paper files to ensure accurate recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
• Research discrepancies and help resolve routine accounting issues.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team on special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
