Job description

SYSTRA Canada is part of the SYSTRA group, an international consulting and engineering group, a world leader in the design of transport infrastructures. SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.


The ALTO project is a major infrastructure initiative in Canadian history, aimed at developing over 1,000 km of new passenger rail service between major urban centers, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.


As part of field investigation campaigns (biology, physical environment, geotechnical, geophysical, EMC, utilities, etc.), the candidate will be required to:

  • Lead the execution of the procurement strategy to engage the third parties required by the Design Prime Members.
  • Lead the purchasing activities for the Design Prime Members.
  • Administer the Master Service Agreements between the DPM and the Design Prime Members on behalf of the Design Prime Members.
  • Administer the subcontracts with third parties for the Design Prime Members on behalf of the Design Prime Members.

Education: College diploma or university degree in accounting, administration, finance, management, or a related field.

Years of experience:

Technical skills: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in billing, contract administration, procurement, project accounting, or administrative coordination.

  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency in billing and document reconciliation
  • Good knowledge of purchase orders, contracts, and subcontracts
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems
  • Ability to analyze billing discrepancies and ensure proper follow-up
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English*
