Job description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Audit team! If you are passionate about ensuring financial integrity and compliance with accuracy and efficiency, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing audit engagements for various entities including profit, non-for-profit, 401(k), and governmental entities
  • Test financial data and evaluate effectiveness of internal controls
  • Document audit procedures and prepare detailed workpapers
  • Review financial records and systems for compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
  • Report analysis and findings with observations, conclusions, and recommendations to management team
  • Collaborate as needed with other team members and partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in auditing, accounting or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Familiarity with accounting software, spreadsheet analysis, data analytics tools, and other audit platforms
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
