Job description

An international industry leader is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team in a hybrid work environment. This role offers strong visibility across the organization and a clear path to promotion into an Accounting Manager position within the next year. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in corporate accounting, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience working within large ERP systems. Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, particularly on the corporate accounting side.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting packages
  • Review work completed by staff accountants and provide guidance and mentorship
  • Partner closely with Finance and operational leadership to support reporting and analysis
  • Assist with process improvements and accounting efficiencies within the ERP environment
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  • Support internal and external audit requests


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Experience with large ERP systems strongly preferred
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
