Position Overview:

The Vice President of Operations serves as the senior operational leader, responsible for driving franchisee performance, operational excellence, and overall system health. This role works closely with the Brand President to execute the strategic vision and organizational priorities of the brand while ensuring alignment across franchise support, training, marketing, and operational initiatives.


Key Accountabilities:


Strategic Execution & Brand Alignment

  • Partner with the Brand President to execute the strategic priorities, operational initiatives, and long-term growth objectives of the brand while ensuring alignment across teams, franchisees, and key stakeholders.
  • Execute the brandโ€™s strategic priorities, operational roadmap, and key initiatives.
  • Provide operational insights and franchisee feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Help lead organizational and franchisee change initiatives through clear communication, alignment, and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational consistency and effective execution across the franchise system.

Franchisee Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Drive franchisee performance, operational consistency, and system-wide execution by establishing strong operational standards, accountability systems, and performance expectations across the franchise network.
  • Monitor franchisee performance trends and key business metrics including revenue growth, close rate, gross margin, lead conversion, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.
  • Establish and reinforce operational standards, best practices, accountability systems, and execution expectations across the franchise network.
  • Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities across the system and partner with the FBCs to support resolution efforts.

Franchise Business Coach Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Franchise Business Coach team while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop the Franchise Business Coach team through consistent performance management and accountability.
  • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of future FBCs.

Brand Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support the successful execution of operational, marketing, training, technology, and franchise support initiatives that drive franchisee success and strengthen overall brand performance.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution with marketing, training, technology, finance, and support teams to ensure effective execution of brand initiatives.
  • Own rollout, communication, training, and adoption of operational tools, systems, technology platforms, and process improvements.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and system health metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners that support franchisee success and operational efficiency.

Franchise Development, Onboarding & Growth Support

  • Support the continued growth of the franchise system by helping attract, onboard, and develop franchisees who align with the brandโ€™s culture, standards, and long-term vision.
  • Support franchise development efforts through Discovery Days, candidate conversations, brand presentations, and operational validation discussions.
  • Partner with onboarding and training teams to ensure new franchisees are properly prepared for launch and long-term success.
  • Help facilitate operational onboarding, academy training, and post-launch coaching initiatives.
  • Support franchisee readiness through consistent processes, tools, training, and accountability systems.
  • Reinforce brand standards, operational expectations, and cultural alignment throughout the franchisee lifecycle.
  • Other duties may be assigned


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of operations experience at the franchisor/corporate level within a home services franchise system.
  • 3+ years of franchisor operations leadership experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into plans.
  • Prior experience as a Franchise Business Coach, working directly with FBCs, or leading an FBC team strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and support franchise owners in improving revenue, profitability, customer experience, and operational execution.
