Key responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls with inbound leads to understand client needs and assess fit.

Job description

About Titan
Despite decades of innovation in money, the most important consumer money domain remains largely untouched: wealth management. Legacy Wall Street institutions still dominate private wealth, gatekeeping their services behind extremely high minimums, janky user experiences, and layers of fees. They are, in our opinion, the "final boss" of consumer fintech.
Our belief: every American deserves an elite wealth team navigating their capital, delivered at the cost and speed only humans working in harmony with AI can unlock.
At heart, we're a small pack of hard-working rebels operating at the intersection of engineering craft and high-stakes financial precision. Every person here is a calibrated bet on what we're building next. Our mission is to rebuild what a wealth management firm means, from the ground up, brick by brick, leveraging technology across the entire stack, so that AI lets one wealth advisor deliver what used to take a team, serving clients a Wall Street team never could have reached.
We're backed by a16z and Sam Altman, and currently power over $1 billion in assets under management.
Why Join Titan
For the right person, this will be one of the most rewarding roles they ever have.
  • Legacy-defining vision. Private wealth in every pocket isn't an incremental product. It's not B2B automation. It's a "before & after" moment in money.
  • The time is now. LLMs just unlocked what was impossible five years ago: truly personalized wealth management for everyone.
  • Outsized decision making. We're a small team by design. Every hire is precise, every role carries real weight, and your decisions disproportionately shape what we become.
  • Built in person, in the trenches. We're a high-touch, high-tempo group that works side by side. You'll see our founders working in the trenches with the team everyday.
  • Ownership in every sense. Competitive cash and well-above-market equity. We believe in identifying only exceptional talent and compensating them generously.
  • World-class backing. Investors who share the bold vision: a16z, General Catalyst, Accel, Y Combinator, Sam Altman, Paul Graham, and more.

Role Overview
Titan is building its first dedicated sales team, and you'll be the founding member. As the Founding Account Executive (Client Development Advisor), you own the entire journey from first conversation to funded client: discovery, qualification, presenting Titan's wealth management products & advisory, handling objections, closing, and driving account transfers to completion. Once a client funds, you execute a clean handoff to our Wealth Advisory team, who own the relationship from there - and you go win the next one.
You'll work a warm pipeline: Titan generates significant organic inbound leads per month, and our sales cycle is radically faster than legacy RIAs. This is a high-autonomy, high upside role with a clear scoreboard, and your work directly shapes how Titan scales our AUM to $100B and beyond.
What You'll Do
Pipeline & Prospecting
  • Run daily discovery and introductory calls with warm inbound leads from Titan's website, marketing channels, and referrals
  • Re-engage and nurture prospects who haven't taken next steps; manage structured follow-up cadences.
  • Maintain strict CRM hygiene: stage progression, activity logging, notes, and accurate forecasts.

Sales Execution
  • Lead consultative Zoom calls to understand each prospect's financial goals, and qualify against fit: assets, complexity, timeline, and intent.
  • Present Titan's wealth strategies, advisory services, and planning tools in a compelling, honest, client-first way.
  • Handle questions and objections, drive decisions, and close - then shepherd the transfer/funding process (ACATs, rollovers, ACH transfers) to completion
  • Own your numbers: funded clients, funded assets, conversion rate, and speed to fund.

Handoff Collaboration
  • Execute a documented handoff to the Wealth Advisory team at funding - client goals, sensitivities, and expectations.
  • Share insights with engineering, product, & growth teams on lead quality, objections, and messaging to sharpen the funnel.

Product & Industry Mastery
  • Develop deep fluency in Titan's investment strategies, advisory services, and planning tools.
  • Stay current on trends in wealth management, fintech, and investment strategy to better support and educate prospective clients.

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle consultative sales experience - you have been held accountable to closing new business, not just setting meetings.
  • Series 65 (or SIE/Series 7 + 66 equivalent) required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding conversion and revenue targets.
  • Strong discovery and qualification instincts: you ask sharp questions and listen before you pitch.
  • Drive and resilience. We can teach product and process; we can't teach hunger.
  • Clear, confident communication - comfortable discussing markets, portfolios, and financial concepts by phone and video.
  • CRM fluency and pipeline discipline; hygiene is not negotiable.
