Job description

Position: Interim Global Accounts Payable Manager
Duration: 3 months
Location: Boston, MA (open to remote)
Compensation: $70/hour
We are seeking an experienced Interim Global Accounts Payable Manager to join an industry-leading global manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AP leader with experience managing high-volume accounts payable operations in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates interested in working 100% remotely will be considered. However, all remote candidates must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the global Accounts Payable function.
  • Manage and mentor the AP team while ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and vendor payments.
  • Oversee month-end AP close activities, account reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Support system-related initiatives and optimize AP workflows within Oracle Cloud.
  • Assist with audit requests and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Accounts Payable leadership experience, including management of high-volume AP operations.

  • Prior experience within a manufacturing environment is required.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is required.

  • Strong understanding of AP best practices, internal controls, and month-end close processes.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Available to start immediately and commit to a three-month engagement.
