The Role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our finance team.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day Accounts Payable process while supporting month-end close, reconciliations, tax compliance, audits, and other accounting operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of financial transactions.

What You’ll DoAccounts Payable & Financial Operations
  • Own the full Accounts Payable cycle, from invoice entry to payment.
  • Process a high volume of payments through wire, check, and other payment methods.
  • Enter and maintain vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and payments in our accounting system.
  • Review employee expense reports and ensure expenses are properly supported and compliant with company policies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Accounting & Month-End Close
  • Support the month-end AP close process and prepare journal entries.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Ensure accounting data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Tax Compliance
  • Support sales tax filings for our Canadian and US entities.
  • Monitor provincial and state tax portals for notices, discrepancies, and compliance issues.
  • Investigate and resolve tax-related issues when they arise.
Audits & Cross-Functional Support
  • Work with Sales, Operations, and other teams to identify the root cause of AP discrepancies.
  • Help improve financial processes and workflows across the business.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, schedules, and financial information.
  • Respond to auditor requests and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Support other financial projects and analysis as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting or Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience working with an ERP/accounting system; Oracle NetSuite is an asset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
