Outside Sales Account Manager
Summary
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time Account Manager for our Sales division with mechanical piping and industrial piping experience at our Indianapolis, Indiana location. The Macomb Group has differentiated itself from competitors by continually expanding our operations to provide unbeatable specialty services, a huge inventory, energy-efficient solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
  • Visiting customer offices and job sites
  • Prospecting new customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships to generate and close sales opportunities
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly required gross profit dollar targets
  • Working with “key” vendors to promote products and increase sales through joint calls
  • Selling all products within our offering.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Possess polished sales skills, communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated team player who takes initiative
