About the Role

As an Account Manager,you'llplay a key rolein driving revenue growthbyexpanding existingcustomeraccountsand actively convertingnew salesprospects.You'llwork closely with the Sales Manager toidentifynew project design-in opportunities,cross -selling complementary components, develop relationships with customers, andmanagethe end-to-end sales pipeline.

Additionally, this role directly supports in expanding Allied'sportfolio into new product categories, leveraging customer feedback and demand to broaden ourcomponentofferings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting -identifyand qualifypotential customers through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and CRM follow-ups.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building - develop strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring needs are met and long-term partnerships are built.
  • Sales Pipeline Management - manage and track opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar) to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Quoting & Negotiation - prepare quotes, respond to pricing requests, and negotiate terms to maximize deal closure rateswhileoptimizinggross profit margins and account profitability.
  • Product Knowledge & Sales Presentations - understand Allied's product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Account Expansion: Proactively grow existing accounts byidentifyingnew project builds, cross-selling complementary components and securing design-in opportunities.
  • Product Category Expansion: Supports the Sales Manager in expandingAllied'sportfolio into new product lines.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in the electronics or industrial components industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage engineers,buyersanddecision-makers.
  • Proven ability togrow existing accountsandgenerate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals.
  • Experience using CRM and sales automation tools (HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with a strong desireto hit and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote sales team while maintaininga high levelof independence.
  • Bonus: Experience in selling electronic components or technical products/services within the electronic/industrial distribution channel.


Your First 90 Days

First 30 Days : Complete onboarding and product training; learn Allied's catalog, pricing structure, and CRM workflow; begin shadowing calls and reviewing the existing account book.

First 60 Days: Independently managean initialbook of accounts and outbound prospecting; build a qualified pipeline in the CRM; deliver your first quotes and negotiations with support from the Sales Manager.

First 90 Days : Operate independently across the full sales cycle - prospecting through close; consistently manage and grow your account portfolio; contributetoidentifyingopportunities forAllied'sproduct expansion
