What are we looking for?

The Account Manager is responsible for a portfolio of small and mid-market clients, ensuring they realize meaningful value from Wisetail and continue to grow within the platform. The role blends relationship management, consultative guidance, product adoption strategy, and revenue retention. The Account Manager works closely with clients to understand their goals, optimize how they use Wisetail, and identify opportunities to expand or mature their programs over time. This is a medium-touch, high-volume portfolio that requires strong prioritization and early identification of risk. This position will travel up to 15% of the time. 

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do: 

  • Manage a portfolio of SMB and mid-market clients, serving as the primary contact and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. 

  • Drive customer success through regular check-ins, business reviews, adoption planning, training, and best-practice guidance. 

  • Monitor account health, conduct usage audits, and proactively address risks while ensuring clients maximize platform value and resources. 

  • Identify growth opportunities, support strategic planning, and recommend solutions that align with client goals and business objectives. 

  • Own renewals and account retention by managing forecasts, contract needs, outreach efforts, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver an exceptional client experience. 

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 3+ years of account management, customer success, or related client-facing experience, preferably in a SaaS environment supporting SMB and mid-market customers. 

  • Strong analytical, consultative, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver effective written, verbal, and presentation-based communication. 

  • Customer-focused professional with strong technical and administrative capabilities, the ability to travel as needed, and eligibility to legally work in the United States in a remote work environment.
