We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to strengthen our presence in the United States.

Key Responsibilities Sales Intake and Opportunity Qualification
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound sales inquiries, referrals, and assigned customer opportunities.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests, ensuring inquiries are acknowledged, documented, and routed appropriately.

  • Conduct customer discovery to understand the organization, use case, purchasing requirements, timeline, budget, and decision-making process.

  • Complete customer qualification and due diligence activities, including Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and required documentation.

  • Apply BANT or similar qualification methodologies to evaluate budget, authority, need, and timeline.

  • Identify appropriate next steps for each opportunity and coordinate internal resources when additional commercial, technical, integration, or compliance support is required.

  • Ensure opportunities are properly categorized and assigned across B2B, B2G, OEM, partner, or other applicable sales channels.

  • Help maintain a consistent and scalable customer intake process as the volume and complexity of opportunities increase.

Quoting and Commercial Support
  • Prepare and coordinate accurate, timely, and professional customer quotations.

  • Gather information required to develop pricing, lead times, product configurations, payment terms, shipping requirements, and other commercial details.

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Engineering, Integration, Production, Finance, and Leadership teams to validate quotation requirements.

  • Track outstanding quotations and follow up with customers to understand status, address questions, and advance opportunities toward closure.

  • Assist with requests for information (RFIs), proposals, purchase orders, order documentation, and other sales-related materials.

  • Identify exceptions, risks, or unclear requirements early and elevate them to the appropriate internal stakeholders.

  • Support Sales Leadership with pricing reviews, account planning, pipeline updates, and opportunity-specific action plans.

  • Ensure customer commitments are clear, internally aligned, and accurately documented.

Account Management and Customer Growth
  • Manage a portfolio that may include strategic enterprise customers, established accounts, small businesses, startups, integrators, OEM partners, and emerging opportunities.

  • Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders across Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and Executive Leadership.

  • Maintain regular communication throughout the sales and order lifecycle.

  • Understand each customer's business, programs, product roadmap, procurement process, and future requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, including additional products, programs, locations, platforms, integrations, and recurring purchases.

  • Support customer retention through responsive communication, reliable follow-up, and effective internal coordination.

  • Monitor account health, order activity, customer satisfaction, and risks to future business.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve commercial or service-related concerns.

  • Support account reviews, customer meetings, and strategic growth plans.

  • Deliver a high standard of service to both large and small qualified customers.

CRM and Pipeline Management
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records of customers, contacts, accounts, quotations, and opportunities within the company's CRM.

  • Document discovery findings, qualification status, customer requirements, next steps, expected close dates, probability, and key communications.

  • Maintain strong follow-up discipline to ensure open actions do not stall or get overlooked.

  • Track opportunities from initial inquiry through qualification, quotation, negotiation, purchase order, fulfillment, and repeat business.

  • Support pipeline reviews, forecasting, account planning, and sales activity reporting.

  • Monitor aging opportunities and recommend escalation, reassignment, nurturing, or closure where appropriate.

  • Help improve CRM workflows, data standards, dashboards, templates, and reporting capabilities as the sales organization scales.

  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing a rapidly growing volume of accounts and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations to improve intake, qualification, quoting, order handoff, reporting, and customer communication processes.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Integration teams to clarify customer requirements and coordinate technical support when needed.

  • Work with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance teams to confirm availability, lead times, commercial terms, and delivery expectations.

  • Coordinate across B2B and B2G sales teams to ensure clear account ownership, consistent communication, and visibility across opportunities.

  • Support handoffs between Sales, Engineering, Integration, Operations, and Fulfillment teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings focused on customer priorities, pipeline health, delivery risks, and process improvements.

  • Share customer feedback and market insights with internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of scalable sales processes, playbooks, qualification standards, quotation templates, and account management best practices.

  • Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that enhance customer responsiveness and internal efficiency.

  • Operate with a team-first mindset and support high-priority customer and sales needs beyond your assigned accounts when required.

Customer and Partner Engagement
  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, trade shows, partner events, and industry conferences.

  • Prepare customer presentations, meeting agendas, action-item summaries, and follow-up communications.

  • Coordinate technical resources for demonstrations, evaluations, integration discussions, and product reviews.

  • Represent the company professionally with customers, OEM partners, systems integrators, government stakeholders, and industry participants.

  • Build credibility through responsiveness, preparation, organization, and consistent follow-through.

  • Gather customer feedback and communicate product, service, and process insights to internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, business development, sales operations, customer success, or a related customer-facing commercial role.

  • Experience supporting B2B, B2G, OEM, industrial, technology, aerospace, defense, public safety, or similarly complex customer accounts.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, quotations, opportunities, and competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience conducting customer discovery and qualifying sales opportunities.

  • Familiarity with customer onboarding, due diligence, compliance, and KYC processes.

  • Working knowledge of sales qualification methodologies such as BANT or equivalent frameworks.

  • Experience preparing or coordinating quotations, proposals, pricing requests, and customer follow-up activities.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate customer and pipeline data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Integration, Production, Finance, and Leadership teams.
