Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager | Marketing Specialist
Location: Baytown, TX areas
Base Salary: 75k-95k plus benefits

Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial agents by facilitating the placement of new and renewal businesses across all lines of coverage. This position requires direct interaction with underwriters and brokers, representing the agency throughout the process of securing optimal coverage solutions.

Essential Functions:
  • Negotiate Coverage Terms: Skillfully negotiate premiums and terms to secure favorable conditions for all levels of coverage.
  • Policy Rating and Quotation: Utilize carrier websites and rating programs to perform all necessary ratings for policy quotations and issuance. Calculate premiums manually when necessary.
  • Coverage Analysis: Conduct comprehensive comparisons of quote terms, conditions, and premiums, factoring in changes in exposure.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead both internal and external meetings as required, including renewal strategy sessions with agents and customer service representatives.
  • Information Coordination: Efficiently gather all necessary information throughout the marketing process to secure accurate quotes and terms.
  • Professional Development: Participate in seminars and training sessions to maintain licensure and enhance professional knowledge. Engage with company representatives to stay updated on carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Address carrier and coverage issues professionally, ensuring favorable outcomes for all parties involved.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team and enhance service delivery.
  • Specific performance objectives will be set annually to evaluate the effectiveness of the role.
