Job description

Who We Are

Breakaway 360 is the experiential marketing arm of Breakaway Group Inc., born from the nationally recognized Breakaway Music Festival brand. Built on a foundation of creating unforgettable live experiences, Breakaway 360 brings that same energy, creativity, and scale to brand partnerships and experiential activations. We work with brands that want to connect authentically with audiences through culture, community, and the power of shared experiences. Our work spans live events, branded activations, mobile tours, digital experiences, and integrated campaigns designed to make a lasting impact.

The Role

The Account Manager, Experiential will support the day-to-day management and execution of Breakaway 360's brand partnerships and experiential campaigns. Working closely with the Account Director, this role will help manage client relationships, coordinate project deliverables, and ensure activations are executed successfully from initial planning through onsite delivery and post-event reporting. This role serves as a key connection point between clients and Breakaway's internal creative, production, and operations teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and growing agency environment.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and brand partners, escalating strategic or sensitive matters to the Account Director as needed.
  • Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.
  • Support the development and execution of experiential marketing plans aligned with client objectives and Breakaway 360's creative vision.
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, pitch materials, status reports, meeting agendas, and post-event recaps.
  • Maintain regular client communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and overall satisfaction.
  • Track client feedback, approvals, deliverables, and next steps throughout each project.

Experiential Activation and Project Delivery

  • Coordinate the execution of onsite, mobile, digital, and hybrid brand activations.
  • Translate approved creative and strategic plans into detailed project timelines, deliverables, and activation requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day logistics across multiple campaigns and events, including vendor coordination, staffing schedules, production needs, and onsite execution.
  • Partner with internal creative, production, operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential project risks, timeline challenges, or operational issues and proactively communicate recommended solutions.
  • Support onsite activation management and serve as a client-facing representative during events.
  • Assist with post-event reporting, measurement, client recaps, and internal debriefs.

Budget and Vendor Coordination

  • Track project budgets, expenses, purchase needs, and financial deliverables for assigned accounts.
  • Assist with budget reconciliations and flag potential variances or overruns to the Account Director.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, production partners, contractors, and staffing agencies to support project delivery.
  • Help ensure vendor agreements, invoices, and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.

Key Account Support

  • Support large-scale client relationships that span Breakaway 360, Breakaway Music Festival, and other Breakaway business units.
  • Assist the Account Director with strategy execution, client communications, project tracking, and cross-functional coordination for key accounts.
  • Coordinate deliverables and operational responsibilities across internal teams to provide a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain visibility into deadlines, approvals, budgets, and responsibilities across complex, multi-market partnerships.

Agency Growth and Business Support

  • Identify potential growth opportunities within existing client relationships and Breakaway festival partnerships.
  • Support the development of proposals and pitch materials for new business opportunities.
  • Assist the Account Director in establishing service offerings, processes, and operational structures as Breakaway 360 continues to scale.
  • Document account workflows, templates, and best practices to support consistency across the growing team.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and positive agency culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three to five years of experience in account management, client services, experiential marketing, event marketing, or brand activation.
  • Experience supporting client relationships and executing campaigns for established brands.
  • Experience within music, entertainment, lifestyle, sports, or youth culture is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of live event production, sponsorship activation, experiential marketing, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confidence working across creative, production, operations, and finance teams.
  • Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and solutions-oriented in fast-moving environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite at events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities and responsibilities may evolve as the business grows.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching
