About the Role

TCP is looking for a Senior Manager, Event & Field Marketing to lead a high-impact portfolio of industry conferences, trade shows, executive programs, and account-based field marketing experiences.

This role will manage approximately 50-60 industry events annually, along with dozens of targeted field programs designed to engage enterprise buyers, strengthen TCP's reputation in priority industries, and generate demand from high-value accounts.

This is not a corporate or internal events role. It is a strategic go-to-market position responsible for integrating events and field marketing into TCP's broader account-based marketing, demand generation, sales, customer advocacy, and brand strategies.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution. You will determine where TCP should show up, how we should differentiate, which audiences and accounts we need to engage, and how each investment will contribute to achieving our go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and own TCP's annual event and field marketing strategy, aligning investments to target industries, enterprise accounts, products, and revenue priorities.
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-60 conferences, trade shows, association events, and industry programs.
  • Build and execute targeted field marketing programs, including executive dinners, regional events, prospect and customer roundtables, partner programs, and account-based experiences.
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on audience fit, account concentration, brand value, demand potential, and expected return.
  • Partner with the ABM, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Brand teams to integrate events into coordinated go-to-market campaigns.
  • Develop programs that engage enterprise buying committees, create new opportunities, accelerate active pipeline, and expand relationships within strategic accounts.
  • Establish clear objectives, target audiences, account lists, messaging, activation plans, meeting goals, follow-up motions, and measurement frameworks.
  • Create differentiated experiences that strengthen TCP's reputation as a workforce management and workforce optimization leader within priority industries.
  • Incorporate customers, executives, partners, influencers, and industry experts into programs through panels, peer discussions, thought leadership, and customer advocacy.
  • Own program execution, including sponsorships, contracts, budgets, vendors, logistics, booth experiences, staffing, promotions, lead capture, and follow-up coordination.
  • Manage the event and field marketing budget, reallocating investments toward programs that produce the strongest strategic and financial return.
  • Develop reporting that measures account engagement, audience quality, meetings, pipeline creation, pipeline influence, opportunity progression, and return on investment.
  • Conduct post-event analyses and recommend whether programs should be expanded, redesigned, reduced, or eliminated.
  • Establish scalable planning processes, timelines, playbooks, and accountability across Marketing and Sales.
  • Ensure every external program reflects TCP's brand standards, positioning, messaging, and customer experience expectations.

How Your Success Will Be Measured

  • Execution of an event and field marketing strategy aligned to TCP's enterprise, ABM, industry, brand, and revenue priorities.
  • Increased engagement with target accounts, buying committees, customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Measurable pipeline creation, pipeline influence, opportunity progression, and revenue contribution.
  • Stronger brand awareness, reputation, and thought leadership within priority industries.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality programs across a large and complex event portfolio.
  • Effective integration with account-based marketing, sales outreach, demand generation, customer advocacy, and content marketing.
  • Strong pre-event planning and post-event follow-up discipline across Marketing and Sales.
  • Improved visibility into program performance, audience quality, account engagement, and return on investment.
  • Responsible management of budgets, vendors, sponsorships, timelines, and resources.

  • Experience managing a large portfolio of external conferences, trade shows, industry events, and field marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop event and field marketing strategies for enterprise or complex B2B sales motions.
  • An understanding of account-based marketing and how field programs engage buying committees, create pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and expand strategic accounts.
  • Experience developing executive dinners, roundtables, peer forums, regional programs, and other targeted experiences.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with detailed, hands-on execution across numerous concurrent programs.
  • Experience partnering directly with Sales leaders, account executives, business development teams, customer teams, and executives.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including budget management, investment prioritization, performance analysis, and ROI measurement.
  • Experience negotiating sponsorships, vendor agreements, venues, and event services.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
