THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Project Manager to preemptively organize and execute on events for mid-sized corporate, social and in-house clients, by defining objectives, managing budgets, effectively executing tasks and providing technical solutions. Serving as a primary contact for clients and working alongside Account Managers during the pre-planning phase through execution of programs post-sale, Project Managers play a key role in achieving revenue targets and managing the client experience throughout the duration of their program.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Manages and oversees all event logistics, operation and timelines direct with clients based on the overall scope of mid-sized and small events
  • Manages operational meetings for internal teams and vendors and ensures all communication loops are closed between all parties
  • Manages the execution of events from the end of pre-planning. Responsible for providing and overseeing creative solutions within the budget, time, and venue constraints for clients as assigned, while fostering relationships with clients, internal/property departments, vendors, etc.
  • Manages client event order from point of sign off for changes, additions, adjustments and all purchasing, spend and financial reconciliation tracking
  • Leads and collaborates with all teams on-site at event installations and strikes and provides quick turn creative client resolutions as needed and manages event order changes
  • Supports in the execution of assigned event pre-cons and onsite client meetings
  • Arranges and manages final client event approvals onsite
  • Represent MREP by actively participating in training, market research and tradeshows to stay current with industry advancements and strengthen MREP's presence in the event production field

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • At least two (2) years of prior relevant experience in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering or hospitality industry.
