The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business. Working closely with internal design and sales teams, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time while providing an exceptional customer experience throughout every stage of the sales process.


This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, managing multiple projects, and building long-term partnerships with clients.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business, workplace needs, and project requirements.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Anticipate changing client needs and proactively identify opportunities to add value.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying additional products and services that support client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize opportunities and deliver complete workplace solutions.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with the design and sales teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish project timelines and manage customer expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Sales & Account Growth

  • Prepare and present account updates, project reports, and business development initiatives.
  • Negotiate client agreements and support successful project execution.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service while strengthening long-term client relationships.
  • Contribute to overall sales growth through proactive account management and business development.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Business Development, Outside Sales, or a customer-facing sales role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
