Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to represent our distinguished brands within the interior design community. This role is responsible for developing and expanding partnerships with interior design firms, driving sales across multiple product categories, and strengthening brand presence in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with a passion for design who thrives on building long-term relationships. This position requires regular travel to meet with clients, conduct presentations, and attend trade shows and industry events.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business with interior design firms across Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Global Views, and Surya

  • Proactively prospect and engage new design clients, delivering tailored product solutions aligned with their creative vision and project needs

  • Build trusted advisor relationships by providing exceptional service throughout the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to post-sale support

  • Travel to client locations to conduct product presentations, showroom visits, and on-site consultations

  • Represent our brands at trade shows, markets, networking events, and industry functions

  • Maintain deep knowledge of product lines, design trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities

  • Accurately document sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while contributing to overall team and company performance


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales or account management; experience in home furnishings, interior design, or luxury goods strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of the interior design process and the needs of design professionals

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships within the design community

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
