Are you Seller? Do you like to be in control of your paycheck? Do you like to see your success each and every month? WCBI- TV / DT is seeking a Strategic Market Consultant that will develop and cultivate new business in the Golden Triangle and the surrounding area, grow existing business by selling marketing solutions that produce measurable results for WCBI (CBS), FOX, My Mississippi, local events, and online digital marketing with a full service digital agency.
The Strategic Marketing Consultant will have access to a suite of the most effective and efficient digital marketing and Broadcast TV products and services. The Strategic Marketing Consultant will work with the sales department to achieve goals and strategies set forth by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be driven to succeed
  • Experience in dealing with people and building professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint, Word and Excel proficiency highly desirable)
  • Be a quick learner in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Have the ability to ask questions and overcome objections
  • This is not a remote/hybrid job, you will be expected to be in the station (located in Columbus, MS) daily
  • This position is a base + commission position, you determine your growth by the successes you have

This is not a desk job. You will be seeing clients daily. Talking to them to discuss their business growth strategies. Showing them how using our Television and Digital products will help overcome problems they are having.

Media sales experience is not required. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment background checks are required.
