Job description

At Siemens, we help organizations transform maintenance and operations through connected insights, AI-powered technology, and intelligent asset management solutions. Our software enables customers to manage the full lifecycle of assets, facilities, and infrastructure while improving efficiency, reducing risk, and optimizing long-term investments. By connecting data, people, and processes, we empower organizations to make smarter decisions, maximize asset performance, and achieve more resilient operations.
Description
We are seeking a highly driven Account Development Representative (ADR) to help scale our Asset Essentials CMMS SaaS pipeline across multi-national and premier single-national Consumer Packaged Goods, heavy manufacturing, and process industrial sectors. You will be a strategic pipeline builder, executing an advanced account-centric sales motion.
You will work in a tight, dedicated pod with Strategic Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to penetrate multi-billion dollar, multi-national organizations and displace entrenched legacy competitors.
This is not a traditional, siloed lead-generation job. It is a strategic, team-selling role designed for someone who possesses a natural mechanical or operational curiosity, enjoys mapping complex corporate hierarchies, identifying key operational decision makers at both the plant and corporate levels, opening doors, and wants to hone the specialized art of technical enterprise software sales.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in our Raleigh, NC office to collaborate with the sales team.
You'll make an impact by
  • Executing Coordinated "Pod" Strategy Prospecting Campaigns/Workflows: Partnering directly with your assigned Strategic Account Executives (AEs) in a tight feedback loop to map, segment, and attack target territories.
  • Systematically mapping target territories using ZoomInfo, Salesforce CRM, and LinkedIn to identify the exact corporate and plant-level stakeholders across multi-national and single-national manufacturing organizations.
  • Running Hyper-Targeted Outbound Sequence Cadences: Building and executing tailored omni-channel outreach sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn) utilizing deep infrastructure value hooks.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to your AEs: collaborating daily on how to break into specific multi-billion dollar target, sharing account intelligence, analyzing company metric spreadsheets, ensuring smooth discovery-call handoffs, and coordinating cross-border handoffs.
  • Focusing on the Account Matrix: Hunting multi-dimensionally to break into complex enterprise multi-national accounts. Mapping-out a structural matrix: identifying the corporate executive stakeholders and researching individual, high-capacity plant locations, finding the specific Plant Directors, and identifying what machinery is running on those shop floors. You treat the account as a network to map rather than a list of names to call.
  • Executing a high-impact "Floor-to-Boardroom" prospecting strategy: Feeding the plant-floor intelligence you gather directly to your AE, allowing them to construct or adapt their highly targeted, personalized outbound campaigns for C-suite executives (such as VPs of Supply Chain or Directors of Reliability). You run highly coordinated, synchronized campaigns with your account executives.
  • Confidently engaging with technical and operational line managers on the shop floor to map out a plant's physical footprint and identify operational vulnerabilities. You understand how a factory floor works. You skip generic software jargon and speak the language of plant management and equipment reliability.
  • Managing the Joint Discovery Call Loop: Owning the transition of qualified prospects to your AE. Book joint discovery meetings on the AE's calendar, introducing the prospect and their plant-floor challenges at the start of the call, and actively participating in the handoff to ensure a seamless buyer experience.
  • CRM & Pipeline Integrity: Systematically logging all physical plant footprints, tech stacks, and stakeholder maps in Salesforce to ensure complete transparency with your sales pod and channel partners

This is how you'll win us over
  • Enterprise Outbound Track Record: 3+ years of enterprise B2B outbound prospecting or business development experience within enterprise SaaS, industrial software, smart manufacturing, or complex technology sectors. Proven experience navigating multi-threaded, matrixed organizations - beyond high-volume, single-threaded SMB outreach.
  • Operational Curiosity & Industrial Literacy: A strong, demonstrative interest in how physical operations work. While an engineering degree isn't required, you must be comfortable speaking the language of the plant floor-understanding metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), planned vs. unplanned downtime, runtime maintenance cycles, and the reality of shop-floor workflows.
  • Account-Matrix & Territory Mapping Skills: Demonstrated expertise in multi-persona account mapping. You know how to research a global enterprise, map its regional manufacturing plants, identify key localized operational leaders, and trace their structural connection back to corporate C-suite priorities.
  • Diagnostic & Consultative Discovery: Proven ability to move beyond standard, checkbox-style BANT qualification scripts. You can run structured, open-ended operational diagnostics with technical plant leaders, uncover latent floor-level pain points, and synthesize those insights into actionable intelligence for your sales pod.
  • Pod & Strategic Collaboration Mindset: Exceptional team-selling capability. Experience operating in a close "pod" environment alongside senior Account Executives, aligning on daily territory strategy, executing coordinated campaigns, and acting as a true strategic partner rather than an isolated lead source.
  • Precision Technical Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills with the versatility to adapt your tone across organizational layers-speaking with practical, technical directness to a Plant Reliability Engineer and with strategic ROI focus to a VP of Operations.
  • Tech Stack Literacy: High proficiency with modern prospecting platforms (Salesforce, SalesLoft/Outreach, ZoomInfo/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and account-mapping/data tools).

At Siemens, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career while helping organizations operate smarter, safer, and more sustainably. We foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, where employees are empowered to make a difference every day. If you're excited about solving real-world challenges and shaping the future of asset management, we encourage you to apply.

We are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society, while ensuring that we attract the best talent based on qualifications, skills, and experiences. We welcome you to bring your authentic self and transform the every day with us.
