Job description

The Account Delivery Lead owns client-specific delivery quality and standards across a Strategic Account within the Automotive & Industrials business unit. The person in this role creates and documents the processes and client-specific standards the account runs on, then audits and enforces those standards across every project on the account, working in partnership with the practices and Project Managers that staff and execute the work.
This is a standards and assurance seat that defines how delivery activities should be done, verifies they are being done that way, and drives correction where they are not. Success looks like consistent, auditable delivery across a large multi-project account, with issues surfaced by the account before they are surfaced by the client.
The role reports to the Account Delivery Partner within the Industry. It is best suited to someone who has run delivery and then moved into a quality, methodology or delivery assurance role.
Responsibilities
Account Standards & Process Definition
  • Create and document client-specific account standards and processes, covering project start-up and closeout, status reporting, change control, risk and issue management, and onboarding and offboarding to client systems.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership on client-specific processes so that they complement practice methodology rather than duplicating or overriding it.
  • Build and maintain the account's process library so standards are discoverable and current rather than tribal knowledge.
  • Define what good looks like for the client at each delivery stage, with clear and checkable criteria rather than general guidance.

Assurance & Enforcement
  • Audit projects on the account against client-specific standards on a defined cadence and maintain a single view of compliance across all projects.
  • Escalate to the Account Delivery Partner and to practice leadership when a gap does not close.
  • Run targeted audits on request ahead of quarter-end, QBRs, and client or internal reviews.

Quality Reporting & Governance
  • Report delivery quality and standards compliance to industry leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Prepare quality and SLA evidence that supports the client Vendor Management Office relationship, in partnership with the Account Operations Lead.
  • Maintain the account's audit trail so that compliance can be demonstrated on request.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of project and program delivery experience, including substantial time spent defining process rather than only following it. Program-level experience spanning a portfolio of concurrent projects is welcome.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and documenting delivery standards, methodology or quality framework that other teams then worked to.
  • Experience auditing or reviewing delivery work against a defined standard, and driving remediation to closure through people who do not report to them.
  • Comfort holding a line on client-driven requirements across a busy multi-project account, and escalating clearly when a gap does not close.
  • Strong written communication. This role is measured on whether the written standard is clear enough that delivery teams can follow it without the author in the room.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with practice leadership, PMs, Resource Management, and Business Coordinators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience on a large, strategic account with a formal client VMO relationship.
  • Experience on an account large enough to require its own delivery standards, additive to firm-wide methodology.
  • Background in delivery quality, delivery assurance, methodology, or PMO standards within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Office, and leveraging AI to automate processes
  • Experience in Automotive & Industrials or a comparable strategic account environment.
