We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive to join our Middle Market Commercial Lines team in our Wilmington, MA office on a Hybrid work schedule.


Overview:

Responsible for servicing an assigned book of commercial business while mentoring under and assisting Account Managers and Producers with the workflow and servicing of multi-line accounts, in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

Responsibilities:

Associate Account Manager:

  • Coordinate the handling and servicing of assigned accounts and provide support to assigned Account Managers and Producers.
  • Work with one or more Assistant Account Managers to grow and develop delegation skills.
  • Participate in additional trainings as directed by Manager.
  • Create and/or maintain coverage proposals, Schedules of Insurance, and Statement of Values.
  • Process certificate of insurance requests.Work with account team and lenders to make sure certificates are issued in accordance with financing agreements.
  • Process premium financing quotations.
  • Request and follow up with insurance carriers on policy changes/endorsements as directed by the Account Manager or Producer.
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and draft transmittal letters or e-mails as requested.
  • Renew and maintain policies within agency management system, and update system with requested changes in coverage or exposure.
  • Invoice premium transactions as directed.
  • Obtain and provide loss reports from insurance carriers as requested.
  • Handle correspondence and the clerical processing of accounts including applications, transactional file maintenance and agency management system input of each account.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Related experience with commercial insurance.
  • P&C Producer's license.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
