Job description

Love working with vehicles and seeing the finished product of your work? Put your hands-on skills to work installing custom accessories and upgrades on brand-new vehicles in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Apex is currently recruiting for an Accessories Installer for one of our top clients in Wentzville, MO.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Install custom vehicle accessories and upgrades according to customer specifications
  • Remove factory-installed components and install aftermarket or customer-requested accessories
  • Install items such as graphics, splash guards, cross bars, remote starts, bumpers, and other vehicle upfits
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and torque wrenches
  • Verify proper torque specifications and key product characteristics (KPCs)
  • Follow written work instructions and dimensional technical specifications
  • Perform final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Properly identify and document non-conforming materials
  • Review installation schedules and complete builds according to production priorities
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
  • 6 months to 1 year of accessory installation experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
  • Excellent hand dexterity and fine motor skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of accessory installation experience
  • Experience installing vehicle graphics, decals, or wraps
  • Automotive customization, upfitting, or aftermarket accessory experience
  • Associate's degree or technical certification
  • Graphic installation experience
