Job description

Mazak Corporation is looking for an Accessories Buyer to join the North American Parts team. This position supports accessory purchasing and material handling activities for new Mazak import machines, aftermarket import machines, and domestic machines outside of warranty. Responsible for repeat/simple accessory orders across all regions while supporting inventory, scheduling, and communication activities.
Scope & Responsibilities
  • Create and issue purchase orders for standard/repeat accessory items.
  • Support scheduling, shipping, and receiving of accessories.
  • Review machine order revisions and update delivery schedules as needed.
  • Maintain accurate information within internal databases and tracking systems.
  • Communicate with internal departments and suppliers regarding order status and deliveries.
  • Assist with receiving, documenting, and storing accessory kits.
  • Review invoices and assist with resolving discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports to support buying activity.
  • Support a safe and healthy work environment.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of purchasing, material handling, or related experience preferred.

Skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and databases simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
