Job description

Labcorp is seeking aSupport Services Supervisorto join our team in Englewood, CO.

Work Schedule:11 PM- 7:30 AM Monday- Friday. Weekends as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise theday to dayoperations of the non-technical staff for theDepartment Namedepartment

  • Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

  • Directly supervise, train, and mentor non-technical personnel of the department

  • Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate coverage

  • Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed

  • Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary

  • Engage in continuous process and service level improvements

  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy

  • Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents

  • Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development

  • Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures

Minimum Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 3 years or more of supervisory or leadership experience

  • 3 years or more of experience in a medical/ clinical laboratory experience

PreferredQualification:

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience

  • Associates degreeor higher

  • 3 yearsdistribution experience

Additional Job Standards:

  • Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures

  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

  • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position

  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

**Pay Range: $72,000 - $90,000.

All job offers will bebased on a candidate's skills andpriorrelevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.
