Job Summary/Purpose

All members of Vivint’s safety function are expected to own safety, prevent incidents, and improve continuously with the understanding that zero harm is achievable. The Incident & Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for developing, deploying, managing, and improving assigned safety platforms/databases and their associated standards. There will be regular opportunities to demonstrate skills in management and communications. This position will also be required to present to and engage with leadership, communicate any deficiencies identified and develop sustainable solutions to prevent future issues. The Program Manager - Safety Incident & Compliance, will be responsible for owning the integrity and efficiency of Vivint’s incident management lifecycle, from post-investigation recordkeeping and medical follow-up coordination through to data quality, dashboard reporting, and safety tool improvement. This role sits at the intersection of compliance and technology, ensuring that incident data is accurate, accessible, and actionable while continuously improving the platforms and workflows that support it. The role will be expected to present data insights to executive leadership, the safety team, and operational stakeholders. They must be able to identify opportunities to improve reporting fidelity, and drive process improvements that reduce administrative burden on field safety leaders. Regular engagement with NRG enterprise data stakeholders is expected as Vivint moves toward integrated reporting.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Own all post-investigation incident accuracy in Airtable and Intelex, including case closure, restriction tracking, and accommodation coordination across field operations.

• Process injury-related documentation received from medical providers, including work restrictions, full duty releases, and follow-up treatment records.

• Manage medical follow-ups, ensuring timely and accurate case status updates within required windows.

• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping compliance, including 300/300A log accuracy, recordability determinations, and annual posting requirements.

• Partner with Workers’ Compensation, field leaders, and executive leadership on incident case management, status updates, and reporting.

• Build and improve processes and mechanisms for incident data collection, injury & root cause trend analysis, and reporting.

• Build, support, and maintain safety performance dashboards that surface leading and lagging indicators to the safety team and operational leadership.

• Identify data quality gaps, build corrective workflows, and continuously improve data entry standards across the incident management system.

• Support the evaluation and improvement of Vivint’s safety technology stack, including Airtable and any future platform transitions.

• Develop and maintain standard reporting templates to support audit requirements and NRG enterprise KPI reporting.

• Partner with field safety, installation, and sales leaders to understand and improve safety incident workflows.

• Assist with root cause analysis quality review, flagging incomplete or inconsistent investigation entries.

Working Conditions

• This position is hybrid, requiring office attendance Mon- Thursday, in Lehi, UT, working from home on Fridays.

• Work overtime and non-standard working hours as directed.

• Ability to travel approximately 25%.

• May entail lifting (<50lbs), climbing, walking and standing for extended periods of time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Required or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience: 7+ years experience in safety, injury case management, OSHA recordkeeping, data trending, or combination.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive administrative workflows.

• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.

• Experience leveraging technology such as AI and app development to improve safety.

• Experience building or improving safety systems, dashboards, and reporting workflows.

• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements (29 CFR 1904).

• Occupational injury case management.

• Navigate ambiguity, develop action plans, and work through solutions autonomously.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Experience in a distributed workforce or field services environment.

• Exposure to ISO 45001 or similar safety management system frameworks.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.

• Experience with incident management or HSEQ platforms (Airtable, Intelex, Gensuite, or similar).
