About the Role
As a Senior UX Designer I, you will lead the design strategy for a business or product line, shaping user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, use research and data to inform design decisions, and champion user-centered design practices throughout the product development lifecycle. This role also provides opportunities to mentor designers and contribute to innovation across customer-facing products and applications.
Responsibilities
  • Lead design strategy for a business or product line.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases and advocate for customer needs across agile teams.
  • Create processes that effectively uncover customer needs and product design opportunities.
  • Partner with UX Research to understand user needs and proactively apply insights to design decisions.
  • Manage user-centered design deliverables and contribute to product and application strategy.
  • Use analytics, customer insights, and testing results to inform design and future strategy.
  • Conduct and iterate user testing in partnership with UX Research teams.
  • Mentor junior designers and build strong working relationships with technical teams.

Requirements
  • Mastery of user-centered design processes.
  • Mastery of interaction design skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Human Factors Engineering and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Ability to summarize and apply data from analytics, customer insights, and research sources.
  • Experience establishing metrics and using data to guide design decisions.
  • Expert-level use of design software such as Axure, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Ability to produce designs across multiple platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, innovation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
