Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with established guidelines tailored to each client's specific diagnoses.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification techniques, and brief therapy, effectively during counseling sessions.
• Oversee and provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, fostering their professional development and enhancing service delivery.
• Collaborate with a network of community professionals to develop cross-system treatment plans that address the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, integrating cognitive behavioral interventions and tailoring approaches to individual, family, and community contexts.
• Assess and respond to crisis situations effectively, determining the urgency of client needs while coordinating necessary interventions and support services.
• Engage in staff training and public education on clinical topics, sharing expertise and contributing to community mental health awareness.
• Conduct initial assessments and establish accurate diagnoses using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) standards.
• Perform detailed intake sessions and integrated biopsychosocial assessments to determine client treatment needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes mothers seeking mental health support, as well as individuals from marginalized communities facing diverse socioeconomic challenges. By focusing on these populations, we aim to create a safe and nurturing environment that addresses the unique mental health issues that arise in these contexts. The therapist will play a vital role in advocating for and providing tailored services that enhance the well-being of these clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (such as MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• An independent license in the state of Oregon or the state where you reside (such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
• Exceptional ability to manage a diverse caseload while efficiently interfacing with large healthcare providers and support staff.
• A proven passion for making a positive impact in the field of behavioral healthcare.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, ensuring compliance and effective documentation.
• Strong email communication skills and competence in using various computer applications, specifically in Windows environments.
• A thorough understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in evidence-based practices with a focus on community mental health initiatives.
• Previous work with diverse populations, particularly within underserved communities.
• Experience providing supervision or mentorship to junior staff or interns.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
