Job Summary

The Presentation Design Associate will support the Chief Transformation Officer and Transformation Office by creating high-quality presentations and visual communications for executive leadership. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional who excels at transforming complex information into clear, visually compelling, executive-ready materials.

Major Duties

  • Develop executive presentations, meeting materials, and communications in PowerPoint.
  • Transform complex business concepts and data into clear, engaging visual narratives.
  • Design charts, process flows, timelines, infographics, and other visual assets.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and develop effective presentations.
  • Maintain presentation templates, visual standards, and branding consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Support broader creative and communication needs for the Transformation Office.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for layout, design, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience creating presentations, visual communications, or graphic design materials in a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting executive-level audiences preferred.

Portfolio required. Candidates should provide examples of presentations or visual design work demonstrating strong PowerPoint and storytelling capabilities.

Salary Range:

$61,500 - 98,300 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
