As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will use technology to document activity, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, record visitor and delivery information, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle flow at gates and docks while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
