Job Details
First Coast Security Services is hiring full-time and part-time Control Room Operators (CRO) for a high-security data center environment in Umatilla County. This is a critical operations role responsible for real-time alarm monitoring, access control management, and emergency dispatch coordination.
Starting pay: $22.50 per hour
Shifts available: 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Monitor alarms in real time and dispatch security officers to incidents within required SLA windows
  • Manage access control systems -- grant, restrict, and revoke access permissions; verify credentials; investigate unauthorized access attempts
  • Execute emergency escalation procedures and maintain clear communication during high-risk incidents
  • Monitor green zones and perimeter areas for security compliance
  • Manage and update incidents using a ticketing system
  • Respond to client requests via radio, intercom, and text-based communication platforms
  • Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and documentation

REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication required
  • Prior security control room experience preferred
  • Experience with access control systems (Lenel, Genetec, CCURE, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail

TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
No control room experience? We provide comprehensive paid on-the-job training, starting from foundational security operations through full CRO certification. Upon completing training, candidates take the CSB CRO Certification Test. Passing the test leads directly to shift assignment. Candidates who need additional time continue as security officers before re-evaluation.#INDLP
