Chenega Naswik International (CNI) is seeking a dedicated Access Control Specialist to support mission-critical operations in Homestead, Florida. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, and government personnel while maintaining access control procedures, monitoring facility entry points, and ensuring the security of government resources.

**The shift for this position will be primarily for weekends. Must be able to work night and day shifts.**

ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do
  • Monitor and control facility access through a centralized access control point and video surveillance systems.
  • Verify credentials and authorize entry and exit for personnel and visitors.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to employees, government staff, VIPs, and the public.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and databases utilizing Microsoft Office applications and other government systems.
  • Safeguard government-furnished equipment, information, and property.
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts and participate in evacuation drills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support mission requirements.
Qualificationsย What you Bring
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in access control, facility security, or security administration within a government or military environment.
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting DoD or federal government agencies.
  • Familiarity with security clearance adjudication processes.
  • One (1) year of experience providing customer service and maintaining records or databases in a DoD environment.
  • Working knowledge of DoD Enterprise Architecture environments, including SIPR and NIPR networks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to use a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
